Unveiled: Paul Thomas Anderson’s Enigmatic Leonardo DiCaprio Film Lands Official Title & Date

We finally have some clarity—a keyhole’s worth—about Paul Thomas Anderson’s mysterious new film starring Leonardo DiCaprio.

Warner Bros. announced on Wednesday that Anderson’s film has gotten a slight bump in its release schedule from August 8 to September 26. This moves the film from the summer blockbuster season into the typical awards contender release window. James Wan Reveals The Title for “Aquaman” Sequel

We finally know what Aquaman 2 will be called, thanks to director James Wan, courtesy his Instagram page. The next installment of Wan’s vision for Aquaman is titled Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom, which is an interesting title considering Wan’s comments at last year’s DC FanDome event. “The second one is a little bit more serious, a little bit more relevant to the world we’re living in today. That’s where it wants to go.”

If Aquaman wants to go in a more serious direction,

Your 2021 Oscar Nominations are Here

The 93rd Academy Awards will air live, on ABC, this April 25, and your nominees are officially in. This year marked the first time the Academy waived the requirement that a film had to have a limited theatrical release in order to qualify, a nod to our shared reality in which the pandemic laid waste to the film release schedule, thousands of theaters were closed, and many big titles were delayed.
