Statement from MPAA Chairman and CEO Senator Chris Dodd on Brazilian plane crash
WASHINGTON – The following is a statement from Senator Chris Dodd, Chairman and CEO of the Motion Picture Association of America, Inc., on the tragic plane crash involving Brazil’s Chapecoense soccer team that occurred overnight near Medellín, Columbia.
“On behalf of the MPAA and its member studios, I extend my deepest condolences to families and friends of those who lost their lives in last night’s tragic plane crash. Among the passengers were six Fox Sports employees – members of the MPAA family. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their loved ones during this time of mourning.”
