Statement from MPAA Chairman and CEO Charles Rivkin on the Passing of Maryland House of Delegates Speaker Michael Busch

WASHINGTON – The following is a statement from Charles Rivkin, Chairman and CEO of the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) on the passing of Maryland House of Delegates Speaker Michael Busch.

“Michael Busch, Speaker of the Maryland House of Delegates, was an extraordinary leader whose priority was always the best interests of the people of his state. His decades of service were built on a cooperative spirit that earned him bipartisan respect and a legacy of achievement. He was a staunch advocate for the power of creativity and a great friend to our industry.  On behalf of the MPAA and our member companies, we extend our deepest condolences to his family, and celebrate his life and contributions to the state of Maryland.”
