Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes

Tonight, the Motion Picture Assocation, The Walt Disney Company, and the Congressional Popular Arts Caucus, co-hosted a screening of Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes at the MPA’s global headquarters in DC.

Josh Rogin, Senior Vice President of Federal Government Affairs at the Motion Picture Association; Troy Dow, Vice President & Counsel, Government Relations and IP Legal Policy & Strategy, The Walt Disney Company; Rep. Robert Garcia (D-CA); and Rep. Maxwell Frost (D-FL) provided opening remarks.

As stated on the film’s official site:

“Director Wes Ball breathes new life into the global, epic franchise set several generations in the future following Caesar’s reign, in which apes are the dominant species living harmoniously and humans have been reduced to living in the shadows.”
