Tonight, the Motion Picture Association, Netflix, the U.S. Department of State, and the Middleburg Film Festival co-hosted a screening of the film Society of the Snow, the Academy Award nominee for Best International Feature Film.
Charles Rivkin, Chairman and CEO of the Motion Picture Association; Ruchi Bhowmik, Vice President of Public Policy at Netflix; Amb. Angeles Moreno, Ambassador of Spain to the United States; Amb. Augusto Duran, Ambassador of Uruguay to the United States; and Liz Allen, Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs at the U.S. Department of State, provided remarks before the film.
