Dani Bacsa
Dani Bacsa is Senior Vice President and Deputy Chief of Content Protection at the Motion Picture Association (MPA). Since joining the organization in 2014, Dani has progressively assumed pivotal roles within the realm of content protection, establishing himself as a cornerstone in the MPA’s efforts to safeguard intellectual property. His responsibilities include the orchestration of the global content protection strategy in collaboration with MPA members and between the association’s branch programs, partner initiatives, and law enforcement agencies worldwide.
In addition to his substantial contributions within the MPA, Dani plays an instrumental role in the Alliance for Creativity and Entertainment (ACE), where he leverages his expertise to support more than 50 media and entertainment companies worldwide in addressing their content protection challenges.
Dani has an extensive academic foundation in Computer Science, Digital Forensics, Information Security, and Management, complementing his professional endeavors. His career trajectory prior to the MPA includes diverse experiences across the financial sector, software and tech, and internet service providers (ISPs), alongside commendable service in the military.
