MPA Enlists Patrick Wolf as Chief Accounting Officer

Corporate Finance Executive Joins Organization from Digital Music Industry

LOS ANGELES – The Motion Picture Association (MPA) announced today the appointment of Patrick Wolf as Senior Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer.

Wolf, a seasoned corporate finance and accounting executive with an established track record of leadership in the digital music industry, will lead the MPA’s worldwide financial planning and reporting functions. Wolf will be based out of the organization’s Los Angeles office and will report to Hunter Paletsas.

“I’m delighted to welcome Patrick to the MPA and look forward to applying his wealth of expertise in finance and accounting to enhance the growth and success of our innovative organization,” said Paletsas, Executive Vice President and Global Chief Financial Officer of the MPA. “Throughout his career, Patrick has demonstrated a clear vision for strategic financial planning that will be extremely valuable to the MPA and our member studios.”

Wolf joins the MPA from the Cinq Music Group, a music distribution, record label, and rights management company, where he served as Chief Financial Officer. There, he sourced financing and led due diligence efforts for Cinq’s music catalog transactions, with deals ranging from $5 million to $135 million. He also led strategic efforts for Cinq’s treasury, financial reporting, and royalty accounting functions. Prior to Cinq, Wolf served as Corporate Controller at GoDigital Media Group and an auditor at Deloitte & Touche. Wolf graduated from the University of Southern California with Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Accounting.
