New Independence Day: Resurgence Teaser Showcases Alpha Alien

In this new teaser for Independence Day: Resurgence, we finally get a good look at what we believe is the alpha alien, possibly the film's big bad (and the mother of all aliens) in a blink-and-you'll-miss-it (but you don't want to miss it) moment. Pause the teaser at the 9 second mark in the teaser and you'll see her (we're assuming it's a her); a very nasty looking being that's a little like a cross between the Predator and the mean mother that Sigourney Weaver battles in the original Alien. And we think this is a good thing. 

So prepare yourself. The film stars Liam Hemsworth, Jeff Goldblum, Bill Pullman, Judd Hirsch, Vivica A. Fox, Brent Spiner, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Jessie Usher, Maika Monroe and Sela Ward.

Independence Day: Resurgence hits theaters on June 24, 2016.
