Here’s the Newest Monster Tease in This 10 Cloverfield Lane Clip

You knew with 10 Cloverfield Lane opening this Friday, March 11, the clips and teasers would start pouring in. Yesterday we showed you the incredible short that 10 Cloverfield Lane director Dan Trachtenberg made that got the attention of Hollywood. We also shared a nearly 10-minute interview with producer J.J. Abrams on what excited him about the spec script for 10 Cloverfield Lane, and why he was so impressed with the work of not only first time feature director Trachtenberg, but the entire cast and crew.

And now, Paramount Pictures' has released this 15-second clip that hints at the possible connection between Lane and the original Cloverfield—is that sound you hear at the end the monster that destroyed the world in the original? And if not, what exactly is it?
