Happy Friday, Here’s ANOTHER New Star Wars: The Force Awakens Trailer!

Just when you thought it was safe to obessively pick apart the Japanese trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Disney drops a fresh trailer on you! That's right, folks, there's a new TV spot that aired last night and it has some new, intriguing shots. For Star Wars obssesives, you'll find two new weapons you've never seen before, and for BB-8 lovers, you may (but probably not) have reason for concern. Disney aired the feature during the run of shows created by Shonda Rhimes, one of the most successful and powerful people in TV. Rhimes owns Thursday night's on ABC, and this when the trailer dropped. 

We'll share with you now so you can dissect it—it doesn't have as much new stuff as the Japanese trailer did, but it does have a few mesmerizing moments worhty of your attention. We'll embed the video first, so you can see it fresh, then we'll point out the new stuff we found below. Enjoy!

At 11 seconds in, we see TIE Fighters attack the camp where Rey (Daisy Ridley), Finn (John Boyega) and BB-8 are, and poor BB-8 gets blown into the air. We've never seen that before. Yet, we imagine that like R2D2, this crucial droid can take a licking and keep on ticking. There's been way too much attention to our new soccer ball droid to expect this will be his end.

At 17 seconds, Rey proves who the center of this story is when she says to Finn, "Follow me." 

At 31 seconds, when Finn tells Rey her name, why does British actor John Boyega sound American? 

At 40 seconds in, Han hands Rey a blaster! It's silver and very cool looking, kind of a chrome version of his blaster, and definitely a step up from the scavenger staff we've seen Rey weilding elsewhere.

Okay, in our favorite new image, Finn slams his lightsaber down on a Stormtrooper who…somehow blocks it with his own electrified staff thing?!?

At some point we will probably just have to go and see this movie.
