Jamie Lee Curtis Reveals First Look at Laurie Strode in Halloween Kills
There are few horror film characters more indomitable than Laurie Strode. As embodied by Jamie Lee Curtis, Strode has seen a shocking amount of carnage and horror thanks to that lumbering super-killer Michael Myers. Over the years, she’s become Michael’s main obsession and pluckiest adversary. Now we’ve got our first look at Curtis as Strode in this new image from Halloween Kills. Curtis shared this shot of herself on the set of the sequel to last year’s smash hit Halloween reboot. Filming began last month, and Halloween Kills is set to be the first of two upcoming installments from director David Gordon Green. The third and final installment will be called, appropriately, Halloween Ends.
The photo reveals that, once again, Laurie has been through a lot. She’s got some cuts and bruises on her face and arms, and her fingers look like she’s been digging through the dirt. The caption says it all:
NEVER SAY DIE!

You won’t be finding any plot points online. Curtis is staying mum, as is the rest of the cast. If you saw 2018’s Halloween you know that although Laurie bested Michael (yet again), it hardly seems likely she did in the sociopath for good. You don’t just leave a killing machine in a burning house and expect that he’ll die.
As for the rest of the cast, there have been a bunch of confirmations. Two kids that Laurie babysat for in John Carpenter’s Halloween will feature here. One, Tommy Doyle, will be played by Anthony Michael Hall. The other, Lindsay Wallace, will be played by Kyle Richards. Nancy Stephens returns as Nurse Marion.
Halloween Kills arrives in theaters on October 16, 2020, with the final installment, Halloween Ends, due on October 15, 2021.
