Check Out All of Spidey’s New Suits in Spider-Man: Far From Home
Spider-Man (Tom Holland) is a man of many suits. This has been largely thanks to his connection to his mentor (and benefactor) Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.). What we know about Spider-Man: Far From Home (aside from folks loving it) is that (spoiler alert) Peter is dealing with living in a post-Tony world. This means he’s going to have to step up. What it doesn’t mean, it turns out, is that Peter Parker won’t have a bunch of cool new suits just because of Tony’s sacrifice in Avengers: Endgame. In a new video released by Sony Pictures, you can take a tour of Spidey’s revolving super wardrobe.
At the outset of Far From Home, Peter’s wearing his Iron Spider suit that he used in both Infinity War and Endgame. Then there’s what Holland refers to as Peter’s Homecoming suit (named after Spider-Man: Homecoming) and the new Stealth Suit (pictured in the featured image above), which Holland calls his favorite suit of all. The reason for the Stealth Suit is that Far From Home takes Peter Parker to Europe, and he doesn’t want to be seen as Spider-Man abroad. The Stealth Suit was provided by Parker’s other benefactor of sorts—Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson). This suit was designed by S.H.I.E.L.D. rather than by Tony Stark and is more in line with that shadowy organization’s Special Ops requirements.
And then there’s a brand-new black and red suit that is created in homage to the brilliant Tony Stark. This is the suit that essentially allows Peter to fly (or really, to coast) thanks to small wing-like features that pop out beneath his arms.

Here’s a brief synopsis for you: Far From Home exists in a post-Endgame world, dealing with the aftermath of Peter’s mentor and friend Tony Stark’s death. The story finds Peter and his friends heading to Europe for a summer vacation. Yet danger always lurks around the corner, and Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) is never far behind. Fury recruits Spider-Man to help fight a new threat, the Elementals. He also introduces him to a new “friend,” Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal), who will be helping him in the fight. Considering Mysterio is a classic Spider-Man villain in the comics, this relationship will be one to watch.
Spider-Man: Far From Home swings into theaters on July 2, 2019.
