Statement from MPAA Chairman and CEO Charles Rivkin on the Signing of USMCA
WASHINGTON – The following is a statement from Charles Rivkin, Chairman and CEO of the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) on the signing of the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement, or USMCA.
“The MPAA congratulates the leaders of the United States, Canada, and Mexico on the new trilateral North American trade agreement. Strong intellectual property protections and increased market access are imperative to America’s creative community. We look forward to working with the Administration and Congress to advance the interests of the 2.1 million American workers supported by the film and television industry.”
