Statement from MPAA Chairman and CEO Charles Rivkin on FCC Commissioner Mignon Clyburn’s Announcement to Step Down

WASHINGTON – The following is a statement from Charles Rivkin, Chairman and CEO of the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA), on the announcement from Commissioner Mignon Clyburn that she will step down from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

“The MPAA expresses appreciation for Commissioner Clyburn’s many years of public service. During her eight years at the FCC, Commissioner Clyburn promoted a greater understanding of the importance of connecting people and communities. We offer her our best wishes in her next chapter.”
