Statement from MPAA Chairman and CEO Charles Rivkin on the Marrakesh Treaty

WASHINGTON – The following is a statement from Charles Rivkin, Chairman and CEO of the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA), in support of the Marrakesh Treaty to Facilitate Access to Published Works for Persons Who Are Blind, Visually Impaired, or Otherwise Print Disabled (MVT).

“The MPAA supports the consideration of the Marrakesh Treaty in the Senate. The agreement will have substantial benefits for blind and otherwise print disabled individuals, who will gain increased access to the world’s published works. We hope that the Senate will act swiftly and faithfully to implement this Treaty.”
