New Photos from Set of Wolverine Stand Alone Film Logan
So much to parse here, Wolverine fans. First, let's start with the fact that this new Instagram account, "wponx," confirms that we're going to see one of Wolverine's fiercest foes in the upcoming stand-alone film, Logan.
As we wrote last week, Logan director James Mangold has took Twitter to clue us in on his film's title, poster (which reveals not only what many believe is a young Weapon X's hand around Logan's, but also some cuts and scrapes, which shouldn't be there consideirng his healing powers), and a page of the script.
Now, new photos from this wponx Instagram account show that yes, Boyd Holbrook is indeed playing the cyborg Donald Pierce, one of the X-men's most brutal foes and the man who becomes the leader of the Reavers.
Then there's this shot of a very beleaguered Professor X (Patrick Stewart), looking a little worse for the wear.
There was also this shot, which has led many to speculate that Logan will follow the lead of Deadpool and be rated-R. Wolvy fans have longed to see their beloved, straight talking clawed supe get a chance to break free of PG-13, and this image is graphic enough to make that a real possibility.
Logan slashes its way into theaters on March 3, 2017.
