New Jason Bourne TV Spot Hints at Major Plot Reveals

Poor Jason Bourne. It's been twelve years since the amnesiac assassin risked it all (again) to unlock the secrets of his past in The Bourne Ultimatum, yet whatever has happened in the intervening years hasn't left him in a happy place. In the new Jason Bourne spot, we find a man who looks as rough and ruined as ever.

'Ruined' might not be a fair assessment, but Bourne is certainly seething. The new spot gives us more details about what sucked him into this web of conspiracy and super spies in the first place, possibly turning big reveals from Ultimatum on their heads. And speaking of being turned on your head, kinetic filmmaking master Paul Greengrass is back in the director's chair, and Julia Stiles has returned as Bourne's only trust-worthy friend (we think). 

There's some serious star power joining Damon and Stiles; Tommy Lee Jones, Alicia Vikander, Ato Essandoh, and Vincent Cassel.

Jason Bourne hits theaters on July 29.
