Finn’s Got A Lightsaber? Watch new Star Wars: The Force Awakens Teaser
“There’s been an awakening. Have you felt it”? Um, yes, Star Wars, we have. And now that Star Wars: The Force Awakens released a teaser to a teaser trailer today on Instagram, we can be pretty sure that the 8 people who haven’t yet felt it (they’ve been on the International Space Station) have as well. While short in length, it reverberated with in sound, scope, and dramatic effect. Also, it showed our new favorite character, the droid BB-8.
The teaser is a part of today’s Instagram announcement: “In addition to square posts – you can now share photos and videos in both portrait and landscape orientation on their platform.” This teaser is the first video content to be showcased in the new landscape orientation.
Many of the shots in the clip are ones that we have seen before, but with the way the Instagram is configured, it did not disappoint – as this looping video closes there is something very new—John Boyega’s character, Finn, is wielding a BLUE lightsaber of his very own, fighting who we can only assume is Adam Driver’s character, Kylo Ren, and his crossblade lightsaber.
All we can say is… We want more!!! How are we supposed to survive until September 18? Watch it below:
